We want everyone to be able to use the Tiffany's Bistro website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, zoom or voice control.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We check the site with automated testing tools, by moving through every page with a keyboard alone, and with a screen reader (VoiceOver on macOS Safari), including the event form’s messages and the map’s loading and fallback states.

What we have done

Every photograph and graphic has a text description, or is marked as decorative when its words are already on the page.

Every menu is published as text, on the same page as the original illustrated menu artwork.

Text and buttons meet the contrast guidelines, and pages keep working when you zoom to 200 percent.

The map loads only when you choose to open it, and the same directions are given in text on the Getting Here page.

Known limits

The original menu artwork is a picture of the printed menu. Every item in it is also listed as text on the menu page.

Room booking happens on the Best Western website, which we do not control.

Ask for help

If any part of this site is hard to use, tell Tiffany's Bistro which page and what went wrong. We will get you the information another way and work on a fix.
