This notice covers the Tiffany's Bistro website at Chateau Big Bear in Big Bear Lake. It explains what the site collects, why, who else receives it and how to reach us. The hotel's own website and the room booking site have their own privacy policies.
What we collect
When you send a private-event inquiry, we receive the name, email address and event description you type into the form. Depending on how the form is set up, it either sends those details to our events inbox or opens a message in your own email app for you to send.
When you open a page, our hosting provider receives the technical details every website receives, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. They are used to deliver the site, block repeated automated form submissions and fix errors.
The site has no accounts or sign-in, and it never asks for payment details.
How we use it
We use inquiry details to reply to you and plan your event. If you tick the box on the form asking for news and offers, we may also email you those, and every one has an unsubscribe link. If you leave it unticked, we use your details only to reply. We do not sell or rent personal information.
The website does not keep a copy of your inquiry. It reaches us by email, and we keep it in our inbox for as long as we need it to plan and follow up on your event. If you asked for news and offers, we keep your email address for them until you unsubscribe.
Services that receive information
Cloudflare hosts the site, protects it from abuse and keeps short-lived technical logs for security and troubleshooting.
Pages load their typefaces from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when a page opens.
The map on our pages loads from Google Maps only after you choose to open it. Google's privacy policy applies from then on.
Links to the hotel's website, the room booking site, Instagram and Facebook take you to services with their own privacy policies.
Cookies, analytics and Do Not Track
The site does not set its own cookies and does not use analytics or advertising tags. Cloudflare may set a security cookie that helps it tell visitors from automated traffic.
Because the site does not track visitors across other websites, it works the same way whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.
If we add analytics or advertising measurement, we will update this notice before it starts.
Children
The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your choices and how to reach us
To stop news and offers, use the unsubscribe link in any of those emails or contact us. Your inquiry is still answered.
To ask what we hold from an inquiry you sent, to correct it or to have it deleted, contact Tiffany's Bistro at Chateau Big Bear.
